Pre-installation


Installing a clinical software system is a major purchasing decision and you want to get it right. That means having all the information you need to make the best decision.
 
Bluespier has a wealth of case study material that demonstrates an impressive track record across a range of applications, over the years. For hospital users, Bluespier staff can help you with the preparation of a business case for submission to the management board. 
 
Site visits to existing Bluespier user sites around the world is also possible.  Once the decision to implement has been made Bluespier will engage directly with clinicians, administrators and IT staff to ensure the new system will work well within the framework of existing systems and working practices.
 
 


Installation 


Once you have chosen to proceed with your installation, the professional team at Bluespier ensures the transition happens as smoothly as possible.   Prior to installation Bluespier will make system configuration changes to suit your exact requirements – these may include the development of new clinical assessments, professional letters and documents within the system and interfaces with other systems.  These will be tested and proven prior to installation but will undergo final approval on the day.
 
For large hospital installations Bluespier run a series of formal training sessions over a week, this is followed up with in-situ training during the same week.  For private practice users Bluespier may spend a day on-site with the secretary and consultant or alternatively the training may be conducted live over the Internet. 
 
We are experienced project managers, overseeing every aspect of system implementation with absolute attention to detail.  At larger sites Bluespier can run a 6 month implementation project which ensures that the system is used to its maximum potential across departments within the hospital.
 
The process includes pre-installation configuration of assessments and documents and the multi-level training of users and ‘superusers,’ assigning appropriate system access to each one.

 


Post Installation


As soon as your Bluespier system is installed, your users will start to benefit from a step-change in performance. Bluespier will be there to assist and advise on an ongoing basis. 

Bluespier provides support from the regional offices as well as from the head office in the UK.  First line support at hospitals is generally through a hospital nominated super-user.  From there Bluespier is only a phone call or email away for immediate technical and user support.

 

For those customers on the Bluespier data centre we work online with you, guiding you step-by-step in the use of the system.  At larger sites Bluespier makes at least two on-site visits every year for follow-up training.  Bluespier guarantee to deliver at least two system updates every year giving you the latest clinical datasets, improvements to functionality and keeping you up to date with current technologies.
