Data is entered and updated via point and click onto pre-loaded assessments that present the user with questions and answer options, as well as the ability to free text. These assessments are linked to specific stages of pregnancy, delivery, birth or post-natal care. Selecting the required assessments is an intuitive process designed around the normal work routine.
Automatic coding and registry data capture
Coding is pre-loaded and linked to specific clinical terms, co-morbidities, appointment types and any other codeable item, providing instant and consistent information. The midwife or doctor need only focus on selecting the most appropriate clinical data and coding is generated automatically for both the clinical record and re-imbursement for payment by results. Codes can be ‘overridden’ and changed as appropriate.
Local and national datasets can be captured as part of the normal work routine within relevant assessments. The datasets can then be automatically extracted and sent in either electronic or hard copy format to the registry.
